12mm high quality MDF, left unpainted ready for you to get your paintbrush out and decorate to match your scheme. 
We've added a small piece of acrylic across the top section of the rainbow, this is to make the board even sturdier than it is, and makes it much easier when transporting.
The feet too are made from 12mm MDF and are removable for transportation/storage.
